Cvet's Pets is a 100% volunteer run, not-for-profit organization founded by former Winnipeg Blue Bomber Longsnapper Chris Cvetkovic.
The Cvet’s Pets Helping Vets program provides support to military veterans and Canadian first responders diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our main focus is to provide kits to Veterans and First Responders who own a service dog. These kits include everything you need to own a dog and are provided free of charge. At Cvet's Pets, we believe that we should support the men and women who have given so much for our country. While we assist any service-dog handler who reaches out to us, our focus is on furthering the training of service dogs who are rescued from animal shelters, trained by volunteers, and donated to the individuals who need them.
Cvet's Pets is committed to helping control the pet population through organized spay & neuter initiatives. In January 2013, Cvet's Pets worked with CANDi volunteering at a spay and neutering clinic in Bonfil, a community on the outskirts of Cancun. Since returning to Manitoba, Cvet's Pets continues to focus on helping with spay & neuter initiatives.
Cvet's Pets is committed to helping local animal shelters in the Winnipeg area. We accomplish this by providing much needed items to shelters in need such as dog & cat food, litter, kennels, and building supplies.
